Safety Swim Day
Safety Swim Day is an event designed for swimmers and caregivers to learn and practice safety in and around the pool area. Participants will learn through two sessions: Safety Stations and Open Swim.
The first hour of the day will be spent rotating through three Safety Stations:
Recognizing the Lifeguard and Rescue Tube, All About Lifejackets, and Establishing Safe Routines In and Around the Water
The second half of the day will be dedicated to putting into practice what participants learned about. Everyone will get a chance for open swim in our heated, indoor above-ground pool. The depth of this pool is 4-feet. Swimmers will have access to lifejackets, pool noodles, and pool toys during the open swim session.
The cost of this event is $20 per participant. Registration is open to the first 15 participants.
