  • How young can my child begin taking swim lessons with Eggert Aquatics?

We offer multiple programs for your younger swimmers:

Parent-and-Child Group Lessons are a fantastic option for swimmers starting at 6-months old.

Preschool Aquatics Group Lessons are for new swimmers or those that have aged-out of Parent-and-Child classes. Swimmers age 3 and up can enroll in these classes

Private Swim Lessons are available for swimmers starting at 2 years old

  • What is the oldest age swimmer allowed to take swim lessons with Eggert Aquatics?

There is no age limit to learning how to swim! We welcome swimmers of all ages and abilities.

  • How long will it take my child to learn to swim on their own?

Every swimmer learns differently and at their own page, and there are many skills to learn before a swimmer is ready to swim independently.

We often see progression after six swim lessons, however, each swimmer is different and learns at a different pace. Not every swimmer is ready to begin swim lessons at the same age, and some may learn faster than others.

  • What type of training do the Eggert Aquatics instructors have?

Our Eggert Aquatics instructors are American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructors and Certified Lifeguards. Many of our instructors also have the Swim Angelfish Adaptive Swim Certification. Learn more about our awesome instructors on the Meet Our Instructors page!

  • What do I need to bring to each swim lesson?

Our instructors will provide the equipment needed during the lesson. All that we ask you to bring is a pair of goggles and a towel for each swimmer. Water is also recommended to stay hydrated!

  • What is your cancellation policy for Private, Semi-Private Swim Lessons, and Adaptive Swim Lessons?

    • If a lesson is cancelled with less than 36 hours notice, no makeup tokens will be provided without a doctor's note**

*Makeup tokens must be redeemed within 30 days of distribution

**Doctor's notes must be received within 48 hours after the cancelled lesson

***A maximum of 2 makeup tokens will be issued per swimmer, per month, regardless of cancelation reason

  • What is your cancellation policy for group classes?

A makeup class will automatically be scheduled at the end of the 8-week group session. This makeup class will be available to any swimmer who missed at least one of the eight lessons in the regular session. This ninth class will serve as the only makeup for group classes. No credits or individual makeup lessons will be provided.
