Our Story | A dream turned into reality.
Eggert Aquatics was founded in March 2017 by the current owner David Eggert. David had already been teaching swim lessons for 7 years, and decided that it was time to start his own aquatics business. What started out as a dream became reality!
Eggert Aquatics has grown so much since it's opening! David started the business on his own with just a few clients, and now has expanded to have a team that has become a family and hundreds of clients joining us on our journey!

About David: David Eggert is the proud Owner and Founder of Eggert Aquatics. He has been teaching people of all ages and abilities to swim for over a decade. David is a certified Water Safety Instructor-Trainer with the American Red Cross, meaning he teaches other people how to be passionate and highly-effective instructors. David is an avid runner, traveler, and loves spending time with family and friends. When you see David around the pool, please come say hi!

Alexis Eggert:
Co-Owner/Executive Director
About Alexis: Alexis Eggert is the Co-Owner/Executive Director of Eggert Aquatics. Alexis has taught swim lessons with Eggert Aquatics for four years and is also one of two Lifeguard Instructors on staff. Alexis is a certified WSI, LGI, and #SwimWhisperer - meaning she is certified to teach Swim Angelfish adaptive swim lessons. In her free time, Alexis is a full-time Business teacher at Lawrence High School. Don't forget to say hi to Alexis next time you see her at the front desk!
DeAna Smith-Beatty:
General Manager
About DeAna: DeAna is the General Manager with Eggert Aquatics. Although DeAna is not currently teaching lessons, she has been a swim instructor for 13 years and has experience working with a range of swimmer ages and skills. DeAna is a lifeguard, Water Aerobics Instructor, previous USA Swim Coach, and mostly recently became certified as a Swim Whisperer through Swim Angelfish! In her full-time position outside of Eggert Aquatics, DeAna is a School Social Worker for children and young adults with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.
