What Are Adaptive Swim Lessons?

Adaptive Swim Lessons are designed for swimmers who may have sensory, neurological, developmental, or physical disabilities or needs. Adaptive swim lessons are personalized to each swimmer's needs, goals, and interests through specialized curriculum developed by Swim Angelfish.

Eggert Aquatics Adaptive Swim Instructors have completed training with Swim Angelfish to become certified Swim Whisperers. Adaptive swim lessons are taught 1:1 during quiet times at the facility to ensure all swimmers are in a comforting and welcoming environment. Specialized equipment is used to help all swimmers reach their goals. 

The design of Adaptive Swim Lessons is flexible to the swimmer. Each lesson is 45-minutes in length, with time built in for transitioning into and out of the water. Each lesson may look different or may follow a routine based on the needs of the swimmer. 

At this time, all adaptive swim lessons are taught on Friday nights. Each 45-minute lesson costs $75. To register, please follow the link on the right side.
